Join the New Horizon Community...

We welcome applications from interns who are already in school for a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD certification. Applicants must be studying in a field related to Special Education and must be enrolled in programs which require internships for course fulfillment. All internship candidates will undergo a screening and vetting process.

There is no cost for local internship applicants, but there is a cost for international internships, payable before placement. Our office will provide international applicants with that information. Please note that New Horizon Special School is not responsible for visa or resident permit applications.

Our Interns Say

"After spending 2 months at New Horizon Special School, I had the opportunity to work closely with both teachers and students. I have learned a lot about the local approach to special education and how the staff use limited resources in creative ways to support their students.

I am very grateful for the warm welcome I received and for the opportunity to contribute and learn in such an inspiring environment. This internship has strengthened my motivation to continue working in the field of special education.

Keep believing in what you do, keep supporting each other and never stop meeting each other with kindness, patience and openness. It’s what makes your school such a special place."
