Founded in 1972, the New Horizon Special School is a private, purpose-built non-profit special needs day institution. The school is located in the Osu/Cantoments area of Accra
What we provide
We provide education, vocational training, and employment opportunities to children and adults with special needs. Our students live with conditions such as Autism, Down's Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, and Cerebral Palsy.

We center our curriculum around Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and select therapies so as to develop each student’s potential to the full.
